Jason has been practicing law with the firm since becoming an attorney after graduating from Baylor University School of Law in 2003. He also received his undergraduate degree in Business Administration from Baylor. Jason has been handling automobile accident litigation for the firm in the Lubbock office and has successfully handled oilfield accident cases, agricultural accident cases and truck wreck cases. He was nominated as a 2006-2007 outstanding young lawyer by the Lubbock County Bar Association.

Jason is very active in the Lubbock community and serves on the Board of Directors for Literacy Lubbock and the March of Dimes. He also serves as a committee member for the Lubbock Heart Gallery (an organization which encourages adoption)and is on the College Baseball Foundation Advisory Council.

He grew up in Lubbock, and his father Sam Medina, serves as a district judge in Lubbock County and his mother Velma Medina, is a successful real estate agent
